Sight Disability Services
Sight Disability Services work with people who have diagnoses of significant and permanent sight loss, and are experiencing functional difficulties due to this.
The service team will carry out an assessment of your needs and work with you to decide the best way of meeting the needs they have identified. You can be referred in 3 ways:
1. through your local hospital eye unit
2. through your local optician
3. by contacting us through social services for adults (details below)
The service also offers a weekly advice session to anyone who requires help or information relating to visual impairment. These sessions are held every Thursday between 1pm and 4pm. Contact us through social services for adults.
If we are unable to help you we will direct you to other organisations that may be able to assist you.
