Joint Community Learning Disability Team

The Joint Community Learning Disability Team provides support for people with learning disabilities, and their carers.

The team offers support for:

  • people with a learning disability to live independently with support
  • home or short breaks away for people who live with carers
  • housing or other accommodation, such as residential care
  • people with a learning disability with their health needs
  • people with a learning disability who also have a mental health problem or difficulty managing their behaviour
  • people with a physical disability, as well as a learning disability, to keep as active as possible

Individuals can access the service if they are over 18 years of age and have a clear and permanent learning disability.
