Better Working Futures

Better Working Futures is Reed in Partnership’s name for the Work and Health Programme. The service gives people (18 years plus) who face additional barriers the best support available to find work.

It is part of a wider package of support for people with health conditions and disabilities which brings job seekers, support provision and employers together to provide greater opportunities for those looking for work.

Reed's friendly Employment Advisers are experts at helping people into work. They provide personal advice and guidance, skills training and health support, all of which help people find the right job for them.

The programme is voluntary for participants with a disability or health condition unless they have been out of work and claiming unemployment benefits for 24 months. Other qualifying criteria includes residents who are ex-offenders, carers and ex carers, homeless, ex-armed forces (and their partners), have a drug/alcohol dependency (or history of), care leavers, refugees, young people in gangs and victims of domestic violence.

Referrals to the programme can be made in a number of ways including through a JobCentre Plus Work Coach, another support organisation (External Signposting Organisation) or self referral online via get.bwfsouthlondon.co.uk/work-health-programme

More information can be found by visiting bwfsouthlondon.co.uk or by telephoning 0203 910 2570

The service is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions and the European Social Fund.
