Beckmead College

Beckmead College provides vocational training for young people aged 14 to 19 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH), and autism.

Key Stage 4

At Key Stage 4 students follow core subjects includng English, mathematics, science, citizenship and ICT. They can follow optional subjects in business, food, sport, art and media or music. They also have a vocational offer focused on construction or mechanics.

Key Stage 5

At Key Stage 5 (post 16) students can choose a pathway from a choice of 4:

• construction– carpentry and brick laying /multipurpos
• mechanics and engineering (motor mechanics)
• media - media and film CTE
• catering
