Disabled Student's Allowance (DSA)

Young people studying or intending to study in higher education can apply for a Disabled Student's Allowance, to cover some of the extra costs you have because of a mental health problem, long term illness or other disability.

You can get the allowances on top of your other student finance. You will not need to repay this.

You can find more information, check your eligibility and apply via the Disabled Students Allowance section of Gov.uk (external link).

You may also be entitled to receive NHS Disabled Student's Allowance. To be eligible for this, you will need to have been accepted onto a NHS funded course.

You can find more information, check your eligibility and apply via the Your DSA website (external link).
