The NHS Choices website provides information in its Sex and young people section (external link) for various aspects of young people's sexuality.

It also has information on boy's bodies and girl's bodies, including puberty.

Sexual Health Services in Croydon

 

The Croydon Sexual Health Centre based at Croydon University Hospital offers a free, comprehensive and confidential sexual health service, including routine testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV, emergency contraception and a range of Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARCs) supplies and advice.

‘The POINT’ is a clinic specifically for young people (18 or under) only, and is also based at the Croydon Sexual Health Centre. It is open for walk in appointments on Tuesday afternoons between 3.30pm and 5.30pm

Eligibility

Sexual health services in Croydon are free and available to everyone regardless of sex, gender, age, ethnic origin and sexual orientation.

The Domiciliary Contraception Service is only available to Croydon Residents aged 25 years or under, others should be signposted to an appropriate service. Contact the clinic nurse on 07773976488 or email ch-tr.youngpersonsoutreach@nhs.net
