What are the choices for Post 16 education for young people with and without an EHC Plan?
All young people have to stay in learning until they are 18.
This does not mean young people have to stay in school.
A young person can choose to:
- Stay in full time education at a school, college or at home
- Take up an apprenticeship or traineeship
- Supported internships.
- Work experience and volunteering
Post-16 Prospectus
Young Croydon produces a Prospectus for Year 11 students, which gives information and advice about the options available for young people aged 16 and over. Not only does the Prospectus detail course and training information, it also provides tips and useful information for you when making your next step.
