Coronavirus resources: Activities at home

Resources to help you and your child with special needs feel happy and stimulated at home. This includes educational and creative activities plus advice on how to create structure, routine and consistency. 

Educational activities

  • Clicker and DocsPlus: FREE access to educational software to help support literacy for primary and secondary pupils. 

  • Home lessons online: A sample schedule you can adapt to help structure your child's day, keeping their minds stimulated and their bodies active

Creative activities

  • Gig Buddies at home: A weekly newsletter for young people with learning disabilities and the people who support them during social distancing. Every Tuesday we share activities you can do at home and online, and you can download previous weeks’ newsletters too for more ideas.
