Special Provision Capital Fund Plan

Croydon has exciting plans for expanding and improving its specialist provision over the next 3 years.  For further information about some of these, please see below: 

Type of SEN or disability that the project is designed to meet:-
  • provide more places in post 16 provision for young people with complex learning needs
  • improve facilities for children and young people with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and/or medical needs
  • improve facilities for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in mainstream resourced provision
  • provide new facilities for children and young people with social, emotional, mental health needs (SEMH)
The Capital Fund will support Croydon in delivery of the 0-25 SEND Strategy.  There will be an increase in special school places to improve outcomes for young people with SEN and provide local provision pathways for local children.
