Managing your health

Looking after your health is important. The best place to get advice is from your GP (doctor) or a trusted health professional.

Most health services are universal, which means they are available to everyone and you do not need an assessment or referral to use them. This includes:

  • GPs (doctors)
  • Dentists
  • Opticians
  • Urgent care and walk-in centres
  • Health visitors
  • School nurses

You can find your nearest services using NHS Choices (external link).

You may also find information on the Health and social care section of Croydon Council's website (external link).
